My Good Things — The AppGang Corporation

We built My Good Things to help you notice and hold on to the small moments that make life good. We take your privacy seriously, and this policy explains clearly what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. Your Good Things are yours.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
When you create an account and use the app, we collect:
- Account information — your email address.
- Your entries — the text notes, voice recordings, photos, and tags you save in the app. Location data for each entry.
- Basic usage data — when your account was created, when entries were created, your streaks.
We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it. We do not collect contacts or any information from other apps on your device.
3. How we use your data
We use your data solely to provide the app's functionality:
- To create and maintain your account
- To store your entries
- To let you retrieve, browse, and manage your collection of Good Things
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond making the app work for you.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — we use Supabase to store and manage data securely. Supabase can access only what is necessary to deliver the service and is bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose data if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.
We do not use your data for advertising or behavioral tracking.
5. Your rights
Wherever you are in the world, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your entries in a portable format
EU and UK users (GDPR): You have additional rights including the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California users (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information — though we do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for longer.
7. Children's privacy
My Good Things is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you via the app or by email before the changes take effect. The current version will always be available in the app and on our website.
